French Student Wins Best Student Sponsored Prize

After passing an HND in business management at ENC Nantes in France, a long-standing partner of Huddersfield Business School (HBS), Alexis Chapron decided to take a gap year in Australia before enrolling at the University of Huddersfield for a BA(Hons) International Business (Top-up) degree in September 2020. 

Despite the challenging conditions, brought about by the COVID pandemic, Alexis has proven to be resilient, maintained a positive attitude throughout, as well as high academic standards, and graduated with a First-class honours degree.

Alexis is now back in France and is making good use of the skills he acquired throughout his studies. He is currently working as an event manager in the music industry. 

Agnes Pifeteau, HBS partnership manager at ENC Nantes, says: "the optional module which Alexis took in Environmental Management reinforced his existing interest in corporate social responsibility (CSR), and he is planning to enroll for a master's degree in CSR next year".
