Vietnamese Student wins Final Year Prize on Business Management

Ha Linh To was awarded our Best Overall Final Year Student Prize on the BA Business Management suite, having achieved the highest average across the year group in her final year of study. This is a remarkable achievement and one which is particularly impressive given the challenges COVID has created for us all.

Ha Linh To, who is originally from Vietnam, was enrolled in our Business and Human Resource Management programme and from the very beginning she set out to achieve a first - achieving Best Year One student in her first year. Her committed and passionate attitude stood out and she was able to maximise her experience studying with us in Huddersfield and getting involved with different societies, most recently as Vice President of the Vietnamese society.

Ha Linh To was also one of our valued student ambassadors and as such, was able to use this role to help improve the learning and student experience of others. During her time here at Huddersfield Business School, she immersed herself in Yorkshire life, working in different restaurants and stadiums, alongside her degree.

Dr Shelley Harrington, Final Year Tutor for the Business Management Suite, says "Ha Linh To was everything we could want in a student and more. Passionate, engaged, focused and above all an excellent academic mind!"

Ha Linh To says: "I was proud to see myself give it all in my final year and thrive in the face of the pandemic hardship. It was also a great honour to see my teachers deliver empowering lectures and support us during this difficult time."
