Spotlight paper for PARK member Tianhua Chen

Fuzzy rule interpolation is of particular significance for reasoning in the presence of insufficient knowledge or sparse rule bases. A paper in IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/abstract/document/8886596 is the first in the literature to improve the automation level of fuzzy rule interpolation in a data-driven manner. This research, led by Dr Tianhua Chen, has recently been selected by IEEE Computational Intelligence Society as one of the two IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy System Publication Spotlight articles, as introduced in the 2021 May issue of IEEE Computational Intelligence Magazine (IF=9.083, Q1).
