All staff invited to the Three Minute Thesis (3MT) semi-final and final! Staff

All staff are welcome to attend the University of Huddersfield semi-final of 3MT beginning at 12.00noon on Wednesday May 22 in BL1/04 and the final beginning at 5.00pm on Wednesday June 12 in BL1/08.  During the final, the results of the Research Supervisor of the Year will also be announced.

3MT is a research communication competition for doctoral researchers.  It is a global competition that began at the University of Queensland in Australia.  Competitors have three minutes to communicate their research, its importance and impact to an intelligent but lay-audience using only one static PowerPoint slide.

The deadline for doctoral researchers to sign up to compete in 3MT has been extended to Friday May 10.  If you supervise doctoral researchers, please encourage them to sign up.
