Queensgate Market Mural Project

Kirklees Council have commissioned an artist, Kasia Breska, to paint and produce a site specific artwork for the Event Space in Queensgate Market and she wants to get University students and staff involved.  Kasia is planning to run workshops in May/June in the Market and wants to put a call out for staff and students who might be interested in taking part. Once she knows numbers she’ll then arrange dates in May/June.  All staff and students are invited, not only from creative courses but anyone who is interested in the history, architecture and cultural significance of the market and Huddersfield.
