One of the most well known conferences in the academic calendar that deal with environmental design and thermal comfort in buildings is the bi-annual event held at Cumberland Lodge Windsor.

The 10th edition was held in mid-April and was attended by ADA PhD research student and Newton Scholarship Holder, Than Hung Dang, along with Professor Adrian Pitts. Hung presented a paper on his research into the environment of Shophouse Dwellings in Ho Chi Minh City whilst Adrian co-led a workshop on ‘Measuring comfort in the real world’. The event is organised through the Network for Comfort and Energy Use in Buildings (NCUEB)  of which Professor Pitts has been a long term member. Details of the event, presentations and photographs can be found on the conference website.
