Health Shield

Teresa from Health Shield will be on site on Friday 27 April from 9.00am till 2.00pm in the Schwann Building Atrium.

The University of Huddersfield works in partnership with Health Shield, who offer Healthcare Cash Plans.  This is not private medical insurance (so the monthly costs are really affordable, there is no excess charge, and you don’t have to be ill to claim).

It works by you sending Health Shield the receipts for your everyday healthcare, such as dental check-ups & treatment, physiotherapy, eye tests, glasses & contact lenses, massages and much more, and they refund 100% of the costs straight to your bank account (up to annual limits for your chosen level).

It is possible to claim back significantly more than you pay for membership, saving you money.
