Engineering Open Day
The School of Computing and Engineering will be taking part in the IET’s Engineering Open House Day which will take place on Friday 28 July 2017.
The family focussed event forms part of the IET’s ‘Engineer a Better World’ campaign, which aims to inspire the next generation of engineers via activity aimed at young people (specifically girls) and their parents. The overarching objective is to showcase our involvement with ‘engineering in the real world’, giving local families an insight into work taking place within the University which would normally happen behind closed doors.

The 2016 event was a great occasion attracting over 100 children, their family members and friends to the University to share our love of Engineering and Technology - hopefully this years’ event will be just as successful!
