University of Huddersfield approved education agents
We are a signatory of the Agent Quality Framework (AQF)
At the University of Huddersfield, we understand that choosing to study in the UK is an exciting yet significant decision. To help you navigate this journey with confidence, we work closely with a network of experienced University of Huddersfield-approved education agents and are a signatory of the Agent Quality Framework (AQF).
The AQF was established after extensive research with students, education providers, education counsellors and agents. It was produced in collaboration with sector partners:
- The British Universities' International Liaison Association (BUILA)
- Universities UK International (UUKi)
- The UK Council for International Student Affairs (UKCISA)
The AQF is designed to ensure agents and counsellors have the right knowledge of the UK as a study destination and understand the integrity of the UK visa and immigration system, in order to uphold the UK’s reputation as a world-class study destination.
As part of the University’s commitment to the AQF, the University’s partner agencies are prepared to support you at every stage, from selecting the right course and submitting your application, to informing you about accommodation and preparing your visa application. Our goal is to ensure you are fully informed, well-prepared, and confident in choosing both the UK and Huddersfield as your ideal study destination.
All our approved education agents have received dedicated training from the University of Huddersfield. This means they are well-equipped with up-to-date knowledge of our academic offerings, support services, and campus life, which enables them to provide you with the highest quality advice and assistance.
Why choose an approved agent?
We strongly encourage all prospective international students to work with one of our official education agents, whose details are listed below. Choosing an approved agent ensures you receive professional, ethical, and accurate guidance tailored to your personal circumstances. You may also find the Student Guide to Choosing an Education Agent helpful when making your decision.
If you do not want to use an agent you are welcome to apply directly online. If you want to use an agent not approved by the University of Huddersfield, we recommend that you take a few key factors into consideration:
- Do they comply with the UK’s National Code of Ethical Practice for UK Education Agents and are they on the British Council approved UK agent list?
- Do they maintain professional and welcoming offices and staff?
- Do they have a good understanding of the UK education system and the study opportunities available?
- Are they licensed to act as an education agent or to offer immigration advice for the UK?
- Do they have a strong reputation, with positive reviews from students or recommendations from trusted sources?
- Are all potential service fees clearly communicated?
If you’re uncertain about your options, our regional office team is always happy to assist with recommendations and further guidance.
