Details of closure on Monday 19th September

Following the sad news of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the University will be closed on Monday 19 September.

 

We look forward to welcoming you when the University opens as normal on Tuesday 20 September.  Day time events and activities for students arranged for Monday 19 September are being rescheduled to commence the following day.  Please check your timetable which you can access via MyHud after you have completed online enrolment.
 
The Students’ Union (SU) social events during the day on Monday 19 September are being rescheduled and those on the evening of 19 September will take place in the following week on the 26 September.  You can find full details of all SU events here.
 
If you are due to arrive in Huddersfield on 19 September please contact your accommodation provider to confirm arrival arrangements.
 
The local council (Kirklees) has opened books of condolence, and made arrangements for floral tributes to be collected – you can find details on its webpages.
