Black History Month themed Wikipedia Editathon

11:15 - 13:15, 10 October 2018

At Heritage Quay (SB 3/05)

Rewrite the history on Wikipedia. Wikipedia is the largest and most popular general reference work on the internet with more than 40 million articles in more than 250 different languages. The fact is when we don't tell our stories or participate in the ways our history is preserved, it gets erased. Gaps in the coverage of knowledge about and from people from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnicities means the history is skewed and we need your help to fix it.  Part of the Broaden MyBookshelf activities to celebrate Black History Week.
