The information published on these pages shows:
The number of students who attained a particular degree or other academic award, or a particular level of such an award, on completion of their course with us.
It shows these numbers by reference to:
• The sex of the individuals to which they relate
• Their ethnicity
• Their socioeconomic background.
The University places students at the heart of everything it does and, through its 2025 institutional Strategy, is committed to the continued reduction and elimination of statistically significant attainment gaps across the campus community by 2030. This commitment is reflected in our current Access and Participation Plan and is supported through ongoing collaboration with our students and the Huddersfield Students’ Union. Building on the success of initiatives such as the award-winning differential attainment project and our work within the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF), the University is aiming to reduce gaps in attainment, continuation, and progression to below 5%, with initiatives already delivering positive outcomes for our students.
