Welcome to History at Huddersfield, home to a friendly team of accredited teachers and leading academic researchers. During your studies you will have the opportunity to engage with a range of approaches and sources covering political, social, medical, religious and gender history. We are looking forward go guiding you through working with primary source materials, drawing on documents in the University's archive in the Heritage Quay, on novels and films, arms and armour, and using and creating of digital materials. A unique feature of your course is the second year Work Placement module, when you have the chance to gain graduate-level experience for six weeks at places such as the Royal Armouries Museum, the British Museum, Yorkshire Farming Museum, West Yorkshire Archives, or as teaching assistant in schools or colleges. In your third year, you can follow this experience up by working on an extended project with an outside client, such as the National Coal Mining Museum or the Thackray Medical Museum.

Free transport leaving the airport at 10.00am and 3.00pm only on each day will take you direct to Huddersfield.
