Sport and fitness
Our friendly sport and fitness team – TeamHud – welcomes you to join the fantastic sports facilities here at Huddersfield once you arrive at University. With flexible membership options and over 28 different classes led by qualified instructors, the Sports Centre is the place to be. Our fitness suite features the most up-to-date Technogym equipment and with a sports hall, squash courts and two purpose-built studios you will have everything you need to get the most out of your membership.
Check out TeamHud's website for more information.
The University's Health Centre
One of the first things you'll need to do when you arrive on campus is register with an NHS general practice. There's one right next door on the University campus, so if you live within three miles of the University that could be ideal. You'll find doctors, nurses and physios on hand to help. They can give you advice on everything including sexual health, contraception, sports injuries, rehabilitation, travel vaccines, relaxation and stress.
