Our campus offers you fantastic facilities. From specialist laboratories, studios and performance spaces to a modern library and computing equipment. There is also a working canal that runs through the heart of our campus, with a tree lined towpath for those downtime moments.

At Huddersfield everything is on one campus

Think you’ll get lost? Think again. At Huddersfield everything is on one campus so it’s easy to find your way around. Also, it means you won’t have to run across town hoping to find your next lecture.

Our buildings range from an historic 19th century church through to modern buildings such as Oastler. The University has a long history from its founding as the Young Men’s Mental Improvement Society in 1841 through to the present day.

You can discover more about our history and the campus buildings by visiting our buildings page here.
