What will happen on the day?

You will participate in a group work exercise that explores patient care issues and professional values. This exercise allows us to assess your ability to work as part of a team, which will be an important element of the course. Your interview will be held with a member of the academic team and either a practitioner from practice and/or a service user. This will explore your understanding of the profession, roles and responsibilities, current health issues and your readiness to meet the demands of the course.

Additional information

A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be carried out once you accept our offer, unless you let us know about any criminal record either on your UCAS form or at the selection day, in which case the DBS check will be done immediately. If you are made an offer an Occupational Health questionnaire will be sent to you so that we can confirm that you are able to undertake the course.
