Student employability is at the heart of our Computing and Information Systems courses. If you study on a 3-5 year Bachelor's or Integrated Master's course with us, you'll have the opportunity to undertake a placement in your third year. 

Our dedicated Placement Unit in the School of Computing and Engineering is on hand to support you with your applications and throughout the placement experience.

Many of our Computing and Information Systems courses are accredited by the British Computer Society (BCS). BCS accreditation is awarded to courses that provide a solid foundation in computing, and it provides an indicator of quality to you and potential employers. Accreditation is independent recognition that the course meets the high standards set by the IT industry and meets industry needs.
