University of Huddersfield Pharmacy Experience Day

Saturday 23 June

This day has been designed to give Year 11 and 12 students, and their parents, teachers and advisors an insight into the pharmacy professions and a chance to find out more about pharmacy in its different settings. Plus there’s the opportunity to visit our new science facilities.

This could help Year 11 students with their A Level and BTEC choices, Year 12 students with which universities they might visit and what course they might want to study and teachers, advisors and parents with the background knowledge to help guide these types of decisions about their future.

The day will include presentations about the main areas of pharmacy from Community, Hospital and Industry Pharmacists and Independent Prescribers. The Chief Scientist of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society, Professor Gino Martini, will be speaking about the profession.

Further information, along with a link to the booking form, can be found on the Pharmacy Experience Day booking page.

Bookings can be made individually via the link provided above. If you’d like any assistance with how to book, or would like to bring along a group please contact Keeley Hutton.
