EVENT: DIY Bike Maintenance
Environmental Projects in Kirklees (EPIKS) will be hosting a free bike maintenance workshop on campus this May, open to both staff and students.
Delivered in partnership with Wood's Bicycle Service & Repair, this hands-on session will help you build confidence in maintaining your bike, covering essential checks and simple repairs.
What to expect:
- Learn how to check your bike is safe to ride
- Make basic adjustments, including brakes and cable tension
- Practice fixing a puncture and replacing an inner tube
You're welcome to bring your own bike along, although this isn't essential.
When: Wednesday 27 May, 1.00pm - 3.00pm
Where: Student Central, Level 4 (opposite Starbucks)
