A TEF gold-rated University
The University of Huddersfield has been awarded an outstanding Gold rating, the highest accolade attainable, in all three aspects of the Office for Students’ latest Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF). Notably, the University secured a Gold rating in both critical categories of student experience and student outcomes, reflecting its unwavering commitment to providing an exceptional student experience and fostering excellent student outcomes.
These ratings were awarded in 2023, for four years.
We were the only university in Yorkshire and the Humber and the North West to achieve Gold ratings in all three aspects of the TEF among those announced in September 2023. In fact only 13 other Universities, out of the 96 that were announced in September 2023, were Gold in all three ratings.
