Studying abroad can give you a great experience both inside and outside the lecture hall. You will be involved in an enjoyable and essential international experience while earning credit towards your degree.

The University of Huddersfield offers a range of courses (known in the UK as modules) that you can choose from to get the best from your studies.

The University and town offer a wide range of activities and events that you can get involved in, including student societies, the Festival of Light and Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival.

Our location in the middle of the big city triangle of Manchester, Leeds and Sheffield means you can easily hop on a train and find yourself in one of these fantastic cities within half an hour and it’s easy to get out to the many sights of Europe with Manchester International Airport only 40 minutes away. Don’t forget that the UK and Ireland offer a lot for visitors to see and do; whether you want to see historical sights such as Stonehenge or Edinburgh Castle, be a tourist in London or try a pint of Guinness in Dublin!

You can find all the information you need to apply to the University in this section by using the left hand navigation to choose the topics. However, if you have any questions you can also contact us at the international office
