I’ve been offered a place through Clearing, do I need to come to the Clearing Admissions Day?

What happens during the Clearing Admissions Day?

You will get the opportunity to:

  • View the facilities
  • Take a campus tour
  • Meet academic staff
  • Meet current students
  • View our accommodation and book a place
  • Process your application

Is there a dress code?

There is no dress code for the day. Wear whatever you feel comfortable in.

Where do I go when I arrive at the University?

When you arrive at the University, please follow the Open Day signs to our check-in area in Student Central. You can print out a copy of our Campus map to help you find your way around campus on the day.

How do I get there?

Whether you are driving to Huddersfield or using public transport, everything you need to know in order to find us is on our campus location webpage.

Where can I park?

Parking is available free of charge for visitors in Firth Street Car Park. Firth Street Car Park is located to the north of campus between Little Aspley Hall and 3M Buckley Innovation Centre (15 on campus map).

Can I bring my parents/family or friends with me to the Clearing Admissions Day?

Yes of course, bring as many people as you like.

I am travelling a long distance, where can I stay?

There is plenty of quality accommodation available in and around Huddersfield. There also are a number of hotels close to the University and town centre that you can book.

Does your campus have disabled access?

Can I visit the accommodation on another day as I can't come to the Clearing Admissions day?

Interviews on Clearing Admissions Day
