Dr Anne Gregory has been Professor of Corporate Communication at the University of Huddersfield since September 2014. She joined the University from Leeds Beckett University where she was Director of the Centre for Public Relations Studies, an internationally recognised research centre and think tank on public relations and communication. While at Leeds Beckett, she also completed a three year term as Pro Vice Chancellor, extended for three months.
Anne's research interests focus on capacity building in public relations and corporate communications and includes leadership, the strategic role of communications, ethics and globalisation. Her publications include the UK's seminal book on Campaign Planning, the four volume Sage Master works on Strategic Communication, which she edited with Professor Robert Heath and numerous papers in her field's leading journal Public Relations Review.
She has co-author the book Strategic Communication Leadership. She is the former president of the Chartered Institute for Public Relations and the immediate past chair of the Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management.
