This website aims to disseminate information related to the activities of the British Northern Universities India Forum (BNUIF), a research partnership between economists, social scientists and management experts at the University of Leeds, the University of Lancaster, the University of Manchester, the University of Bradford, the University of Derby and the University of Huddersfield. The principal objective of the Forum is to bring together academics working on India’s economic problems and policies and disseminate their research output through lectures, seminars and working papers.
BNUIF organises an annual conference in India, seminars on issues of relevance to India and the world economy as well as guest lectures and discussions in each of the four founding member universities. In addition it organises the Khusro Memorial Lecture, an annual event.
