If you’re feeling hungry check out all the great places to eat around the campus! In Student Central we have Starbucks, Costa Coffee, Neo Pizza and Pasta, Campus Kitchen serving hot food and cold sandwiches and Just Burrito. Grabbing a spot of lunch or a coffee with friends is the perfect way to spend time between lectures!
The Students’ Union is on the first floor of Student Central. If you need any advice or support, pop up and have a chat with them! They also offer great opportunities to get involved in, such as setting up or joining a society and volunteering!
The University has excellent gym facilities to keep you fit and healthy. You’ll find the gym and the fitness studios located in Student Central. They are open every day of the week so there’s always a chance to go and let off steam on a treadmill. There’s also a variety of fitness classes to choose from.
The University’s Library is based over six floors. There are lots of resources for all students that are really easy to use.
Recently refurbished, the Library offers floor after floor of academic resources for students, no matter what subject they study, and you can access it straight from Student Central.
If you want help finding a job to earn some extra money whilst at University or advice on careers when you graduate, you should pop into the Careers Service or the Job Shop in Student Central.
The Disability and Wellbeing Services team provide support to all students for a variety of things from dealing with stress to providing extra support for students with disabilities. They can also offer drop in sessions or you can make an appointment at a time that suits you.
Need to stock up on some essentials whilst you’re on campus? Check out the shop near the entrance of Student Central. They sell snacks, stationery and food for when you’re running low.
