Undergraduate Open Day – Barnsley campus
We know you are bound to have questions about starting at the University Campus, so we run Open Days throughout the year. These relaxed and informal events take place throughout the year and are your best opportunity to get a sense of the campus and discover more about the courses that you are interested in studying.
You will also be able to get advice and guidance on everything from subject availability and application procedures through to money matters and other aspects of student life.
The University Campus Barnsley Open Days will be held on:
- Thursday 14 June, 2012
- Monday 20 August, 2012
- Wednesday 17 October, 2012
Our Open Days are held between 1.00pm -6.00pm. Bookings for our Open Days will commence from 1 February 2012.

Pre Booking Information
It is advisable to pre-book for our Open Days which will speed up the registration process on the day. Why not get travel directions including a map of how to find us?
As we are a town centre campus we have no on-site car parking facilities, with the exception of a small number of disabled spaces. Should you have a disability or mobility difficulties, please contact us in advance on 01226 606262 to discuss your requirements.
What happens on the day?
At University Campus Barnsley there are a wide range of exciting courses for you to study. The Open Day is a great opportunity for you to find out more, with the chance to speak to course tutors and to meet current students. The Open Day is a chance for you to have your questions answered with the following also on offer:
- A chance to find out about student finance
- A chance to talk to some of our current students about university life at the Barnsley campus
- A tour of the campus and an insight into all our fantastic facilities
- A chance to speak to student services and the student union
- Relax and have a coffee and some lunch in the café or if you have time have a look round Barnsley town centre

International Students are welcome to attend our Open Days, however we are unable to provide Visa support to overseas students.
