Booking is highly recommended for our Open Days so that you can then be sent an e-mail allowing you to book onto talks, presentations and accommodation tours and create a personalised timetable for the day. To get travel directions and find out about parking arrangements, see the 'Arriving at our Open Days' page.
Please download a map of the campus before you come along to the event which shows you where to park and where to register on the day. It also shows you where all the different buildings are located so you can get a feel for the campus before you arrive.
Many departments will be open to visitors to view and will be running a programme of lectures, activities and exhibits.
University staff will also be on hand to discuss courses, application procedures and teaching facilities, and some of our current students will be available to give you guided tours around the campus. At our Open Days, you will be able to:

If you are interested in coming along to one of our Open Days and want to find out what happened at previous events, you can find all the information you need.
International Students are welcome to attend our Open Days, however we are unable to provide Visa support to overseas students.

It is highly recommended that you book in advance, although you can just turn up on the day.
Yes, an e-mail will be sent to you once you register for the day confirming your booking. This will then provide you with a link to personalise your programme for the day. We recommend you do this as some talks and tours, especially the accommodation, fill up very quickly and this guarantees your place.
Yes. DIGS Student accommodation will send you a confirmation e-mail along with your tour tickets via e-mail.
We will e-mail you your Open Day Pass one week before the Open Day. If you book after this time just bring along a copy of the confirmation e-mail we will send you on booking your place.
Yes. The main registration area will be in Quayside along with the Information Fair, in the Central Services Building. However there will be several registration desks situated around campus.
We have no limit on the number of visitors attending with you. Children can accompany parents, however we would ask that if you are attending a presentation and they get restless that you leave so as not to disturb other visitors.
Please make your way to Quayside in the Central Services Building. We will have Student Ambassadors in orange T-shirts to direct you on the day.
An on-line programme is available to view on the web. A printed programme will be available for you to collect upon registration on the day. This will give you all the room numbers and talks for the day.
Amendments to your booking such as cancelling your attendance or changing your personalised programme or changing to a different Open Day can be made on-line via your iHud VIP login page.

Accommodation can be viewed on the June and October Open Days, it will not be available to view on our September Open Day, however DIGS Student accommodation will be giving talks.
Please note that the University does not own the student accommodation. This is run by the University’s preferred recommended and approved company DIGS Student.
Limited free parking is available on campus and we have also arranged for some overflow car parking in the Kingsbridge Car Park. Please note however that when our allocated car parking spaces are full you will have to pay to park.

Yes, guided walking tours of campus are available at regular intervals throughout the day and there is no need to book; just go to the Help Desk in the Information Fair. These will be led by our Student Ambassadors.
