But there’s no need to worry, we offer a friendly and confidential service which includes information, help and assistance with a wide range of issues, from immigration advice to faith and health issues – remember your welfare is our top priority. In addition, if you want to find a part-time job to supplement your finances (a great way of getting to know the local inhabitants) our careers services are happy to help. They can also advise on working in the UK once students have graduated.
For undergraduate entry, Huddersfield welcomes a wide variety of qualifications:
University/College Entrance Examination (Gaokao).
Baccalauréat with overall score of 12.
Abitur with overall score of at least 2.5.
Two A-level passes at E or above and three HKCEE at D or above.
Standard XII award (ie HSSC) awardedby CBSE, CISCE or Metro state boards.
Higher Technician Diploma.
Associate Degree, College of Technology Diploma.
Junior College Diploma.
Associate Degree/Diploma in Vocational Education.

If you are not quite qualified the University offers the International Foundation Year and the International Diploma, and successful completion guarantees direct entry to Year 1 or Year 2 respectively.

However, if you need to improve your English you can choose from our pre-sessional and in-sessional English programmes that run throughout the year.
Our extensive scholarship programme has been designed to assist well-qualified international students who would like to study at Huddersfield. In fact we’ll consider all self-funded international students with overseas status who wish to apply for undergraduate study. Scholarships are awarded on academic merit and are applicable for all years of study.
