Critical FriendsThe Institute’s research assistants: Ola Aiyegbayo and Kathrine Jensen(Ext 1577) can act as critical friends for academics who need support with their teaching and learning research bids/ideas. The process can involve giving feedback on proposals as well as asking searching question and aims to provide reflective space for academics to view their research bids through a different lens. The critical friends also provide alternative sources of information and offer constructive criticism. They are independent of the research bid process and will not be involved in the writing up of the bid but will gladly offer their expertise as appropriate.
