The Students’ Union (SU) is the beating heart of the University. In January 2014, the SU moved to a new home in the Student Central building which now means that all the University support services are under one roof.
The Students’ Union at the University of Huddersfield gives you the opportunity to have your say on the things that really matter to you. You can get as involved as much you want – host a radio show, write for the student paper or even run for President!
The Students’ Union runs activities and events for you throughout the year and it’s always a great place to socialise between lectures. The SU is responsible for helping run all the sports clubs and societies across campus so if you want to get involved, you can check out all the clubs and societies on the SU website. if you can’t find a club your interested in why not suggest one and the SU will try and help you to set it up.
If you need help or advice with any aspect of life at the University of Huddersfield, the Students’ Union is your first port of call. Students’ Union Advice Centre provides students with information and advice on all things related to your life at University from your course and academic issues to housing, finance and safety issues you may face during your time with us.
You can find out much more by checking out the Students’ Union website, calling our helpdesk on 01484 473449 or why not drop in and see for yourself on Level Five of Student Central.
