The Support Section of the Student Finance Office can help with a variety of problems. These include but are not limited to the following things;

• Budgeting Advice.
• Debt advice and negotiations.
• Help question Student Finance England / Local Authority decisions.
• General benefits information.

We also advise, process and assess the Access to Learning Fund.

If your funding has been delayed at the start of term we also process Bridging Loans to help you get through.

Our staff are friendly, supportive and helpful, and we also have a private room to discuss your worries – you don’t have to talk over the counter.

Students (and prospective students), can either make an appointment to see an advisor or just pop in to our Wednesday drop in from 10am-1pm and 2pm-4pm.
