Car Parking - Galpharm park & ride -

As parking is extremely difficult in the town centre we are running a shuttle bus service from the Galpharm Stadium car park (home of Huddersfield Town FC) which is approximately 1 mile away from campus.

Should you be arriving for the Open Day after 10.00 am it is highly recommended that you use the Galpharm Stadium car park. disclaimer

Directions from the M1 to the Galpharm park & ride

Take the M1 and exit at Junction 38.

Take the A637 towards HUDDERSFIELD for approximately 6 miles.

At the Junction with the A642 take the first left off the roundabout following signs for HUDDERSFIELD A642 for approximately 5 miles.

As soon as you see Glyn Webb on your left, move over to the right hand lane and turn right at the second set of lights onto St Andrews Road.   (New Wharf pub on your left, MYCCI on your right.) right)

Go down St Andrews Road.   At the first set of lights (Hartwell Ford on right and Lightcliffe Skoda on the left), turn right into Stadium Way.

 

Use the upper level of this car park signposted Television Vehicles/South Stand.  Please park on the left hand side of the car park away from the driving range as there are occasionally stray golf balls.

Directions from the M62 to the Galpharm park & ride

(please note there are 3 junctions off the M62 to Huddersfield.  We have suggested JCt 25 as the easiest to find us)

Join the M62 and exit at Junction 25.

Take the A644 Huddersfield follow this road for approximately 1 mile.

At the roundabout take the 2nd exit (A62 Huddersfield).

Carry along the A62 towards Huddersfield following signs for Galpharm Stadium (passing the Woodman Pub and SYNGENTA on the left).

After approximately 2 miles you will pass a Trading Estate on your left (B&Q, Comet etc).

At the next set of traffic lights turn left onto Thistle Street (Spinners Arms and Market Tavern Pubs on the corner).  At the next T-junction, turn right onto St Andrews Road.

(If you miss the Thiestle Street turn go to the next set of lights and turn left onto Gasworks Street)

At the traffic lights (Hartwell Ford on left Lightcliffe Skoda on your right), turn left into Stadium Way.
