Biography

Kathryn joined the University of Huddersfield’s Applied Criminology Centre (ACC) in 2009. In 2007 Kathryn graduated from Coventry University with a first class honours degree in BSc Psychology and an MSc in Forensic Psychology and spent 18 months at the National Offender Management Service (NOMS) as a Measuring the Quality of Prison Life (MQPL) Research Assistant. Since joining the ACC Kathryn has been involved in a number of projects including an evaluation of the Youth Justice Board’s ‘Preventing Violent Extremism’ programme and the EU Seventh Framework funded study ‘Children of Prisoners, Interventions and Mitigations to Strengthen Mental Health’ (COPING).
