Research & Scholarship

Research and teaching interests focus on the psychology of education with particular interest in educational transitions. Have undertaken longitudinal studies in transition from primary to secondary school, transition from Access courses to HE and transition to postgraduate study, a project funded by the Higher Education Academy. I take a qualitative approach to research and adopt a socio-cultural analytical framework.
