Emma Hatfield is a solicitor (non-practising) and a senior law lecturer. She obtained her LL.B (Hons) and LPC from Staffordshire University where she attained a distinction, top 10 place and special prize on the LPC. Emma then moved to Wiltshire where she trained and qualified as a solicitor, being admitted to the roll in October 2000. Emma specialised in Property Law in private practice in West Yorkshire before commencing her employment with the University of Huddersfield in May 2004.
Emma is subject leader for Property Law & Practice on the Legal Practice Course and Land Law on the LL.B course. She is Law Careers advisor for students on the LL.B and LPC wishing to qualify as solicitors.
