Graham Stone (BSc, DipILS, MCLIP, FHEA) joined the University of Huddersfield in 2008 and is currently Information Resources Manager in Computing and Library Services. Graham has over 17 years experience in academic libraries. He is responsible for the library information resources budget, the management and operation of the Acquisitions and Journals and E-Resources Teams and University Repository.
He manages the University of Huddersfield Press initiative and is studying for an EntD within the Business School. He is also a member of the OAPEN-UK project steering group.
Graham has managed a number of JISC funded projects including the Library Impact Data Project and the Huddersfield Open Access Publishing project.
He is UKSG Publications Officer and a member of the Electronic Information Resources Working Group (EIRWG), the PALS metadata and interoperability working group and chair of the JISC Journal Archives Advisory Board.

Graham has helped to organise a number of high profile international conferences and workshops, including the UKSG Annual Conference and Exhibition since 2001. In 2011 Graham help to organise and co-presented at the Digital Researchers conference organised by Vitae, the UK organisation championing the personal, professional and career development of doctoral researchers and research staff in higher education institutions and research institutes.
He has also been a peer reviewer for Library & Information Science Research and the Journal of Electronic Resources Librarianship.
In 2010, he was awarded the LIBER Award for Library Innovation for his paper on the implementation of the Summon web scale delivery service at the University of Huddersfield.
