Research & Scholarship

Dr Monro was a co-applicant on a large ESRC project about LGBT Equality in Local Government, which addressed the themes of organisational change, resistance and democracy via the prism of sexualities equalities work in local government. This project has led to a large number of outputs and has informed the development of the new project about bisexual identities. There is a lack of social science-informed analysis of bisexuality, and this cross-cultural project will lay the foundations for a contemporary bisexuality studies.
