The University Campus Oldham's Public Lecture Series introduces an exciting and diverse programme of topics and subjects areas for you to explore. The lectures are part of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations this year. As a University we want to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee in a wholehearted fashion celebrating developments in science, society and culture over the past six decades as well as looking to the future. You can find out more about how we are marking the Jubilee now.

As part of the University of Huddersfield we can offer you the opportunity to listen to top academics who are experts in their field. They will tackle issues which you come across in your everyday life in an interesting and thought-provoking way, backed up by extensive and often internationally recognised research.
All lectures are FREE to attend and you needn't have studied the subject before. You may wish to increase your knowledge on certain topics or simply enjoy listening to new perspectives. If so, make sure you don't miss your chance to attend this fascinating series.
