What can I borrow?

To borrow items, you can use a self-service machine. These are located:

• On floor 4 of the Huddersfield Campus Library.
• Opposite the Helpdesk at the Barnsley Campus Library.
• Next to the Helpdesk at the Oldham Campus Library.

If you need assistance, ask a member of staff at any of our library Helpdesks.

How many items can be borrowed and for how long?

If you are a full or part-time student you can borrow a total of 15 items. This includes

• two week, one week, and two day loans
• audiovisual items (e.g. DVDs)

Audiovisual equipment is also available to borrow for up to 1 week from each of the campus libraries. e.g. Dictaphones, digital cameras and video cameras.

Disabled students can request extended loans on standard and Short Loan books.  Please contact the Library Disability Support Officer at your home library for more details.
