Meet and greet service

The University offers a free ‘Meet and greet’ service for students arriving at Manchester International Airport.  This ensures that whenever you arrive there will someone at the airport to meet you and take you to your accommodation in Huddersfield.  This must be booked in advance by completing the Notification of Arrival form Jan 12 and emailing it to international.office@hud.ac.uk with your arrival details and accommodation details in Huddersfield. (Please note that we cannot pick you up without this information).  We will email you to confirm that the taxi has been booked for you.

Representatives from the University of Huddersfield will meet you at the airport and show you to your taxi. Look out for the University of Huddersfield banner in the arrivals hall with student ambassadors in green t-shirts, who will be happy to help you find your way.

This service operates for the September and January intakes only. Please note that we will need your completed form at least 7 days prior to your arrival to book your taxi. Please also make sure you have some British currency with you for the taxi fare.
