On arrival in the UK, please make your way to the town of Huddersfield and then on to your accommodation. Some of your options are shown below.
Huddersfield is easily accessible by train from Manchester International Airport. There are frequent train services from the airport station to Huddersfield.

Once you arrive at Huddersfield train station, you then need to make your way to your accommodation. There is a taxi rank outside the front of the station. Use the first taxi at the front of the line of taxis. Make sure you have money to pay for the journey. Cash machines are available at the station.
The University operates a “Meet and greet” service from Manchester International Airport.
You will need to take the 757 Airport Direct Bus to Leeds station, which should cost around £2.50. The 757 runs every 30 minutes during the day, and hourly in the evenings and on Sundays (see the 757 timetable for more information).
There are frequent train services to Huddersfield from Leeds, with a standard single ticket currently costing £4.50. The journey from Leeds takes around 20 minutes.

Take the Airlink 501 bus from the front of the terminal building to Liverpool South Parkway. From Liverpool South Parkway station, you then need to take a train to Huddersfield. A standard single combined rail and bus ticket for this journey will cost around £25.40.

East Midlands Airport runs a Skylink bus service from the airport to Derby, from where you can get a train to Huddersfield. The Skylink service runs every 30 minutes during the day and hourly overnight, seven days a week. Skylink costs £3.20 currently, and the journey takes around half an hour to Derby station.
From Derby station, you need to take a train to Leeds. Change at Leeds for a train to Huddersfield. The journey from Derby to Huddersfield takes about two hours and a standard single ticket will cost around £33.
