Just Enough: focussing on the basics

If you need to know the basics of using a piece of software, but you don’t have the time to attend one of our regular training sessions, you might like to try out our "Just Enough" training concept.

Accredited/Certificated Programmes

European computer driving licence (ECDL) - (Already Registered?)
A European and international introductory I.T. qualification. The University is an ECDL Test Centre and staff and researchers are warmly invited to join the programme.

ECDL Advanced (ECDLA) - (Already Registered?)
The University is an accredited Test Centre for the ECDLA qualification. Staff and researchers are warmly invited to join the programme.

E-Type
E-type is a touch-typing package designed to be a quick and easy way to learn to touch-type with ten fingers and is accredited by the British Computer Society

All our training materials are available in the Blackboard Staff IT Training module for University staff to view or print. You can use these to learn about the topics you need when you are unable to attend the scheduled sessions.
