The UK Register of Child Protection Research
Welcome to The UK Register of Child Protection Research. The register aims to provide a single, clear and definitive source of child protection research that has been completed, or is ongoing, in the UK.
This site already contains structured and systematic summaries of almost 300 studies. Further studies are being added constantly. The ultimate aim of this project is to capture details of the thousands of child protection studies that have been carried out in the UK over the past few decades. You are able to:
- Submit your research to the register or amend an existing submission in the register
- Search the content of the register, by researcher, by research institution or by key words or phrases
- Download the PDF copy of the register, the UK Register of Child Protection Research - Volume 1
This web resource is being made available to, and is being actively promoted among, a wide array of organisations and individuals involved in or concerned with child protection. This includes, among others, UK and international policy makers, practitioners, academics and students, campaign groups, funding bodies and the media. Further information on the register is available on the About the register page.
Comments and questions on this register are very welcome, so please contact us.
