Come along to the Convivium and discover a space for postgraduate research students to sit, think and discuss.
This space is dedicated to you, our postgraduate research students. We hope you will find time to visit the space, and make use of it, in the very near future. As you do, please take time to think about what else you might find helpful, and let us know by posting your comments in the suggestions box – you can help us to ensure this space offers you the right facilities.
In response to your feedback a great coffee/hot drinks machine has been installed. The price for a drink is the lowest around so please don't abuse this by taking drinks sachets and sugar without paying!
The Convivium has been designed to provide a space where you can meet other researchers from different disciplines, to share experiences, generate new ideas, and to relax. If you need to, please feel free to move the furniture around to facilitate discussions etc. Two Apple Macs and two pcs have been installed as well as a colour printer although the space is not designed as an alternative to designated PGR study space provided by Schools.
Monday - Thursday: 6.00am - 7.45pm
Friday: 6.00am - 7.30pm
Closed Saturday and Sunday
Access to the space is controlled by a student id swipe card system. Please contact Gail Hurst tel: 3980, email g.hurst@hud.ac.uk if you encounter any problems accessing the Convivium.
