Catering services

The Catering Services main office is located on Level 3 of the Central Services Building (CSB).

Maxine Rowlands, the Catering Manager, and her team are responsible for the following venues located throughout the Queensgate Campus: -

• The Courtyard - Science Building Ground Floor
• Cafe on 3rd - CSB Level 3.
• The Mill Cafe - Canalside East Level 2
• The Street Cafe - The Business School Level 1
• No. 10 Coffee Shop - Harold Wilson Building
• Store on 4 - The University Store CSB Level 4
• Ramsden Cafe - Ramdsden Building Level 1
• Arts Cafe - Creative Arts Building Ground Floor
• The Pod - CSB level 4 Atrium (entrance to the Library)
• The Studio Cafe -Queen Street Studios foyer
• Snackstation vending
• Diamond Jubilee Awards Celebration

The University of Huddersfield and its Students' Union were awarded Fairtrade status in 2009.  Our Fairtrade accreditation is one of the ways in which the University demonstrates its commitment to international development, sustainability and making more socially responsible purchasing choices available to our students, staff and visitors.  More information on Fairtrade can be found by following this link.

In addition to the above venues Maxine and her staff offer a comprehensive, quality internal hospitality service Monday to Friday. This service includes delivering, to the venue of your choice on the Queensgate Campus, anything from tea/coffee to buffets and hot meals. Further details can be found by accessing the above link.
