Located in the Estates Building, Liz Senior, the Conference and Events manager, aims to provide a first class service to ensure your meetings and conferences are successful.

Refreshments and meals - high quality catering to suit any occasion, vegetarian menu also available
Directions and signage on campus
Hotel booking for external visitors to the University - at specially negotiated overnight rates at the George Hotel, Briar Court Hotel, Huddersfield Central Lodge and the Huddersfield Hotel

Feedback (questionnaire) service for the event (internal customers only)

Facilities

An extensive range of meeting rooms and lecture theatres are available. The lecture theatres seat between 100 and 275 delegates and are equipped with up to date AV facilities.

Some facilities are located in unique historical converted mills.

Accommodation

Single en-suite rooms are available for residential conferences and meetings during July and August. Please contact the Conference and Events Manager for further details.

Location

The Queensgate Campus is within easy reach of the motorway network, Leeds Bradford and Manchester airports and main rail links. There is easy access to the Peak District National Park, the National Mining Museum, Holmfirth and a number of other places of interest.

The University campus is situated on the recently restored Huddersfield Narrow Canal and only a 5 minute walk from the town centre.
