New e-learning training essential to all staff

New e-learning materials which relate to general and specific responsibilities for equal opportunities are available to staff. 

You access the courses by the following link:

You should then enter your email (if you have two, use your first email address).  Then enter the password which is password (all lower case).  You then log on to the relevant course following the directions provided. 

Diversity in the Workplace - All staff are expected to take this course.  Doing all the elements of the training takes up to an hour but you can book mark this and come back to it as convenient.  Your manager will assist in making time available for you to complete this course if you are finding it difficult to arrange a time. 

Diversity in Learning and Teaching – This course is specifically recommended for all staff who are actively engaged in teaching and learning – academic staff, technicians, academic librarians, student support staff.  We strongly recommend that you take this course.

Equality Impact Assessment Training – This training should be taken by anyone who is involved in equality risk assessments, both those who are tasked with undertaking the data collection and those who are overseeing such assessments, including all senior staff and managers. 

Recruitment and Selection – This training must be undertaken by anyone who will be involved in the recruitment and selection of staff.  The course provides an accessible route to update existing knowledge of staff who have already been trained and is recommended as a refresher course for all staff.
