We are a vibrant part of the University of Huddersfield. We offer a wide range of courses, primarily in early years, education and youth work. Our courses are characterised by flexible study options, work-based learning, professional qualifications and professional development.

We have two main subject areas. Early years, education and teaching includes initial teacher training and in-service professional qualifications in primary and secondary schools and further and higher education. You gain both the University award and the professional qualification. We also specialise in courses for anyone aiming for, or developing, a career in early years. There is extensive information about our undergraduate and postgraduate courses on the website.

We have continuing professional development courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels (BA, MA, MSc), primarily for staff working in early years, education, teaching and youth work. Courses are suitable for teachers, leaders in education, local authority staff, administrators, learning support workers and early years practitioners.
