The University of Huddersfield has three campuses, one in Huddersfield town centre (the Queensgate campus) one in Barnsley and another in Oldham.
University Campus Oldham and University Campus Barnsley opened in 2005 in a bid to make higher education more readily available to people in both towns and the surrounding area. They offer a range of full and part-time courses that lead to qualifications at undergraduate and postgraduate level. From August 2012 courses at the Oldham campus will be run by The Oldham College, who will also be offering a range of new programmes. All these programmes will be validated by the University, and will lead to a University of Huddersfield award.
The University has invested heavily in all three campuses, which means you’ll find industry standard facilities rarely seen outside a large city. Each campus has its own extensive library and computing facility, and students at Barnsley and Oldham also have access to all the support facilities available at the Huddersfield campus.
