The University of Huddersfield has two campuses, one in Huddersfield town centre (the Queensgate campus) and one in Barnsley.
University Campus Barnsley opened in 2005 in a bid to make higher education more readily available to people in the town and the surrounding area. The campus offers a range of full and part-time courses that lead to qualifications at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
From 1 August 2013 University Campus Barnsley (UCB) will be managed by Barnsley College. UCB programmes commencing in September 2013 will continue to be validated by the University, and will lead to a University of Huddersfield award.
The University has invested heavily in both campuses, which means you’ll find industry standard facilities rarely seen outside a large city. Each campus has its own extensive library and computing facility, and students at Barnsley also have access to all the support facilities available at the Huddersfield campus.
You can explore both campuses with our 360 degree virtual tour
Our Barnsley campus is a specialist hub of excellence in a range of subject areas.
