Brexit guidance for staff and students

This page has been created following the UK’s EU referendum vote on Thursday 23 June, 2016, as a source of guidance for both the University’s staff and students. We will update it when we receive new information. 

The University of Huddersfield is proud to be recognised as an international university that both forges both new links overseas and take great care to foster its current partnerships.  We offer education to students from all over the world and welcome staff to our team from many different countries.  This global presence is something we intend to preserve.

The UK’s referendum outcome to leave the EU will create significant challenges for universities, but we intend to remain global in our outlook.  We will continue to welcome applications from students from the EU and we will not be making any changes to our arrangements for EU staff and students, until we are instructed by the UK government.
